Over the course of the 2015-16 academic year, the IM Building - Phase II was analyzed in order to find areas in which the overall project could be optimized in a way that would better the team and owner.  Research, discussions with various members of the team, and careful considerations for the budget and schedule resulted in four analyses and two redesign proposals.  This final report includes four analyses and two breadths. The analyses include the construction phasing of the locker rooms, the pre-fabrication of the brick facade, construction photography, and an alternate storm water system.  The breadths included a structural breadth looking at the superstructure and the storm water piping system.  The purpose of this report was to demostrate the educational resources and lessons that were learned over the past five years in the Architectural Engineering program and are in no way intended to demote the work of the project team or the owner of the IM Building - Phase II.
